A “DishY” restaurant owner in California has been arrested after allegedly stealing more than $300 worth of food from an upscale restaurant.
Police said they were called to a Del Mar restaurant early Sunday morning where the suspect allegedly stole food from a display case and left with a check for $310.
Police also said the suspect was charged with a felony for shoplifting.
Del Mar Police said in a news release that the suspect “has been arrested for theft.”
They did not elaborate on the nature of the theft.
In August, the owner of a “Dishes” restaurant in Del Mar, California, was arrested after stealing $100 worth of meat from a food truck.
