What to do when you can’t find a recipe for a burger at a fancy steakhouse?
Here’s a few suggestions.

It’s a good idea to get your burger ready ahead of time and to use a burger bun to hold everything together, Jen says.
The bun has a nice texture that allows you to mix the toppings, and it also has a very chewy texture.
“The burger bun is actually really good because it helps keep everything together,” she says.
She also adds, “It keeps the bun from sticking together.”
This recipe calls for three ingredients.
You will need a can of black beans, tomatoes, and a can or two of red bell pepper.
Jen recommends a can.
A can of green bell pepper is a great substitute.
“It’s so easy to make, but the color is really vibrant,” she explains.
The flavor of the beans adds to the texture and also adds a little depth to the bun.
“I like to add some cheese to the burger, but you can just as easily use your favorite kind of cheese,” Jen adds.
“Add a little olive oil to the onions for a crunchy flavor.”
You will need three ingredients for this recipe: a can, a can with a little extra, and some onion.
A small can will do.
To make the tomato sauce, heat a medium saucepan on medium-high heat and add 1 can of diced tomatoes.
Cook until the tomatoes are soft and tender, about 10 minutes.
Add the chopped bell pepper, diced onions, and minced garlic and cook until the onions are soft, about another 10 minutes, adding more water as needed to get them to soft.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
If you don’t have onion and garlic in your fridge, you can add that to the sauce, Jen adds, or use your favourite type of onion and pepper for a cheesy flavor.
Add some of the cheese to your burger and stir it all together, then add the bun to the mix.
The burger bun has enough filling to fit on its own, but Jen adds that it’s best to have enough to fill the entire bun.
You can also fill the bun with some shredded lettuce or shredded cheese if you don, but keep in mind that if you add a lot of cheese, you will have more filling on your burger.
Once you have your burger bun ready, make sure to top it with the toppies, such as cheddar, bacon, and shredded cheese.
“A big, juicy patty is just the right size to keep the bun together,” Jen says, adding that a lot will be left over.
“If you don’ want to fill your burger to the brim, you’ll want to top your burger with more cheese, onions, or other toppings.”
Jen recommends adding a little chopped red bell Pepper to the bottom of the bun, but it’s up to you.
The more of it, the better.
