Here’s how to make a simple dish from scratch with fresh ingredients from your fridge.
What you need to make your own homemade Thai recipe:A bowl to prepare the dishYou need to have fresh, unrefrigerated, and uncooked noodlesYou need fresh and uncracked rice (see note below)You need a bowl of fresh vegetables or fresh vegetables and herbs (see notes below)What you’ll need: 1 bowl of cooked rice2 cups fresh vegetables(fresh green or red)1 cup uncooked rice(fresh, uncooked, or white rice, or fresh red lentils, or red peas)1/2 cup water (for making soup, or to make instant soup)1 1/2 cups water (optional)What to do:1.
Take the bowl and add fresh vegetables to the bowl, and pour in water.
If you’re using red lentil soup, you can leave out the red lentiling in the rice.2.
Place the cooked rice into the bowl with the vegetables, and mix it with the water.3.
Pour in the water and stir it all together.4.
Take a big bowl and set it on the counter.5.
Pour the broth into the pot, adding more water as needed.6.
Bring the broth to a boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer and cook the rice for 10 minutes.7.
Remove the bowl from the stove and set aside to cool.8.
You will have 2 bowls, but make sure the vegetables are still fresh, uncramped, and undisturbed.9.
Once your noodles are ready, you are ready to start making your own delicious Thai food.
Take note of the broth, water, and spices.1.
Put the noodles into the hot water and let it soak for about 20 minutes.2 .
Drain the noodles and add to the water in the hot pot.3 .
