If you’re looking for something a little different at your next dinner party, the perfect wing will make you smile.

We’ve rounded up some of the best wings to serve at your event or at your table.

Here’s how to make a chicken wing at home.


Poultry wing recipe 1.5 lbs chicken wings (6-8) boneless, skinless, and boneless skinless wings with skin 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 tsp salt 2 bay leaves, chopped 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar 1 teaspoon sugar 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 teaspoon white wine 1 teaspoon cornstarch 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese 1 cup chicken broth* or water* 2 cups shredded carrots* or celery root* 1/3 cup chicken stock* or stock* 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro* or parsley* 1 teaspoon salt and pepper 2 cups white cornbread* or white rice* 2 teaspoons dried thyme leaves* Directions: 1.

Heat a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add oil to a medium saucepan.

Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Add salt, pepper and oreganos, and saute for 2 minutes.

Add bay leaves and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring frequently.

Add chicken broth and cook over low heat for 5 minutes, or until chicken is tender.

Add wine and chicken stock, and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in cornstarchs.

Serve immediately.


Combine remaining ingredients in a medium bowl.

Top each chicken wing with cornbread or rice and sprinkle with cilantro and cumin.


Notes *The broth should be enough to meet your meal size and needs.

For an even easier recipe, substitute water or broth for the chicken broth.

If you don’t have chicken stock or chicken broth, you can substitute 1 1/ 2 cups chicken broth in place of the chicken stock.
