Scooby-doo and the gang return in the brand new trailer for “Scoop” which premiered at Comic Con International.
The animated series stars Nathan Fillion as Scooby the Dog, Nick Jonas as the title character and the voice of Scooby himself.
The trailer shows the Scooby and the Scoobys on a rooftop as the camera pans around them.
A crowd of fans can be seen cheering and cheering.
The series will be directed by Paul Wernick and executive produced by Michael Laidlaw, as well as Joss Whedon and the entire Scooby clan.
Scooby, the dog from Scooby Doo, joins forces with a group of misfits to save a pizza delivery girl who has been kidnapped.
“Skooby and Scooby are about a family of misfit kids who are up against some bad guys and they’ve got some bad intentions.
The only thing they have in common is they want to be Scooby’s pals and they’re trying to save her life,” the series’ showrunner, Joss, told Entertainment Weekly.
The show stars John Goodman as Scooby, David Hasselhoff as the gang’s bad-boy father, and Dan Stevens as the evil villain.
The premiere episode of the show was shot in New York and is expected to premiere sometime in October 2018.
The Scooby family will also be appearing in the upcoming film “Snooby-Nosed,” which is slated to hit theaters in November 2018.
“This is one of the best things we’ve ever done.
We’re so proud of it.
We’ve done so much for children,” Wernell said.
“I can’t tell you how excited I am to be a part of it, and I hope you are too,” he added.
“We’re so thrilled and I can’t wait to see what people are going to say about it.”
Scooby will return to the screen in the “Skeletons” sequel to the upcoming movie.
“The sequel will be a great addition to the franchise.
We will continue to surprise audiences with some of our favorite characters and we’ll be bringing them back in new and exciting ways,” Joss added.
